WHAT IS KINESIOLOGY?
Dr. John Diamond wrote the book, "Your Body Doesn't Lie" about muscle testing or AK (applied kinesiology.) Chiropractors often use it to check for the effects supplements might have on your body chemistry. Many muscle sets can be utilized, but most often it is done with an arm held out to the side, then resistance is applied, pushing down, to determine strength or weakness following each statement.
Other common methods are rocking forward for yes (with arms at the side) and facing North or finger methods, mentioned below.
You can also use kinesiology to test for beliefs held in your unconscious mind. This method can be done solo, without someone there with you pushing your arm down to test for the answers.
Be certain you are well hydrated. (Drink at least one full glass of water before testing.)
o Stand up, facing North.
o Close your eyes.
o Relax your arms at your sides.
Your body will rock subtly forward for "yes" or "true", backward for "no" or "false".
Make obvious statements as a way of checking to be sure your body is well hydrated... something like... "I am a woman" if you are a woman, wait for your body to lean forward; if you are a man your body will sway backward... then state the opposite, such as... "I am a man." If dual beliefs are held results may be confusing. Try today is Sunday, today is Wednesday, ect.
Wait for your answer, you can easily feel the accuracy. If you are getting incorrect answers to these, then you need more water, try a few grains of salt, even placing your hands on your back and massaging your kidneys for a minute will help hydrate you quickly. Potassium may also be helpful in getting your body ready to work. Then try again.
Once your answers are solid, then begin testing beliefs.
o Use simplicity and clarity.
o Be sure to make statements rather than questions.
o Your unconscious mind only understands positively worded statements, avoid "not" "isn't" and "don't".
Now begin checking for your own beliefs and those of ancestors up to 7 generations back. You may be surprised what beliefs you are holding and operating out of, that influence your experiences.
